Nwakaeme Eyes Super Eagles Recall, Commends Team For Performance In Friendlies

By Johnny Edward:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Hapoel Beer-Sheva forward Anthony Nwakaeme is dreaming of a recall to the Super Eagles after being left out of the team’s last two friendlies against Poland and Serbia, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Nwakaeme made his debut for Nigeria in their last 2018 World Cup qualifying game against Algeria but has since been left out.
The Super Eagles forward told CSN in a chat ahead of his side’s Israeli championship play-off clash against Beiter Jerusalem that the Super Eagles showed their qualities in the friendlies.
“I’m hoping to be back in the team because I believe I can offer a lot more,” Nwakaeme told CSN.

“The games against Poland and Serbia were a good test for the team and in terms of the play they did well showing their qualities, but were not lucky.”

Nwakaeme has scored six goals and provided four assists in 17 league games for Hapoel Beer-Sheva this season.
