Ndidi: I’m Not Concerned About Reported Liverpool Interest

Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has claimed that he is not distracted by reports linking him with a move to Liverpool, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Ndidi has been touted as a replacement for German midfielder, Emre Can, who is set to leave Anfield at the expiration of his contract.

The 21-year-old Super Eagles star has become of the most influential figures in the Leicester City side and has been rated as the player with the most tackles won this season in the English  Premier League.

A move to Liverpool would be remarkable career lift for Ndidi who only joined Leicester City in January 2017 but the soft spoken player is not prepared to talk about his future now.

“I don’t think about this,” Ndidi told thesun.co.uk in an interview  when quizzed about the Liverpool interest.

“Any move to a bigger club will take care of itself if I keep doing my thing.”

Ndidi has featured in all Leicester City’s 30 Premier League games this season.
