FA Charge Man United’s Young For Violent Conduct

The English Football Association have charged Manchester United’s Ashley Young with violent conduct.

Young, 32, appeared to strike Dusan Tadic of Southampton with an elbow in Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Old Trafford.

The incident was not spotted by referee Craig Pawson and Young has until 5pm on Sunday to respond to the charge.

The draw against Southampton was United’s third straight game without a win in the league.

And they are winless in their last four games in all competitions having lost to Bristol City in the Carabao Cup.

Young will likely miss Monday’s Premier League trip to Everton.
