Salah Hits Goal No.29 As Liverpool See Off Crystal Palace

Liverpool’s chances of finishing in the English Premier League top four got a massive boost on Saturday after the Reds came from a goal down to defeat Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park.

Top scorer Mohamed Salah scored the winner for the Reds six minutes from time, his 29th league goal of the season.
Luka Milivojevic scored Crystal Palace’s first goal in the 13th minute of the game.
Saido Mane restored parity for Liverpool four minutes after the restart.
Mane had the game’s first chance in the 10th minute but he was unlucky not to have scored as he diverted Virgil Van Dijk goal bound header from a corner.
Roberto Firmino also saw his effort deflected over the goal in the 44th minute.

Salah also forced another brilliant save from Wayne Hennessy from close range.

Four minutes into the secnd half, Mane drew Liverpool level with a neat finish off a flick from James Milner.

Christian Benteke wasted a big chance to make it 2-1 for Palace in the 58th minute and the Belgian also missed another chance to score again, failing to finish off a swift counter-attack when he was played through on goal.

Salah sealed the win for Liverpool with a cool finish in the 84th minute.
