Nigerian Defender Abdullahi Joins Perugia On Loan From Roma

Nigerian youngster Nura Abdullahi has left AS Roma for a long-term loan move to Perugia to develop, the Serie A club have announced.

Abdullahi has found playing time hard to come by in Serie A this season, but will now have the chance to play in the Italian second division.

“The club can confirm that defender Nura Abdullahi has joined Perugia on loan,” Roma announced on their official website on Wednesday.

“The Nigerian joins the Serie B side on an 18-month deal, until June 2019.

“Nura, 20, joined Roma’s Primavera squad from Spezia in the summer of 2015. He went on to make 22 appearances for Alberto De Rossi’s Under-19 side, scoring four goals.”
