NBA: Aminu Records 4th Double Double In Blazers’ Win Over LA Clippers

By Johnny Edward: Al-Farouq Aminu scored his fourth double double of the NBA season in the Portland Trail Blazers’ 104-96 win over LA Clippers in Los Angeles early Wednesday morning (Nigerian time), Completesportsnigeria.com (CSN) reports.

A double is the accumulation of a double-digit number in one of the five statistical categories— points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocked shots, in a game.

The 27 year old featured for 32 minutes as Portland Trail Blazers ended a seven-game winless run against the Clippers. He scored ten points and 11 rebound for the Blazers who now have 28 wins from 50 NBA games, losing 22.

Aminu had earlier in the season recorded double doubles against New Orleans Pelicans, Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers.

The Portland Trail Blazers will host the Chicago Bulls in the next game on Thursday.

They remain sixth in the NBA Western conference.
