By Adeboye Amosu: Norwegian top flight club Valerenga have announced the signing of Nigerian forward Peter Godly Michael on a three-year contract, reports Completesportsnigeria. com. Michael, who spent several weeks on trials with the club at their Marbella, Spain training base, expressed his delight after officially penning the contract. “That’s what I’ve been working for all the time, and I’m very pleased to have signed for Vålerenga. I’ve done my best all the way, and I’ll keep doing that,” Michael told the club’s official website. By James Agberebi:  Amkar Perm, parading Nigerian trio, Brian Idowu, Aaron Samuel and Fegor Ogude, have been knocked out in the quarter-finals of the 2018 Russian Cup by second-tier side Avangard Kursk  on Tuesday . After extra-time ended 0-0, the game was decided on penalties with Avangard Kursk winning 7-6. Idowu, Ogude and Samuel all played 120 minutes for Amkar Perm in the defeat. Earlier  on Tuesday , Dele Adeleye’s new Russian first division club, SKA Khabarovsk, were eliminated by another second-tier club Shinnik Yaroslavl. Shinnik Yaroslavl also triumphed 4-1 on penalties after both sides failed to get on the score sheet. Shinnik Yaroslavl and Avangard Kursk will now meet in the semi-final on  April 17 .
